The GID's Petition for Private Roads 1979

The GID has been asked many times why we do not have private roads and a gate at the entrance.

Attached is the GID's 1979 petition for abandonment of the roads by Douglas County and the minutes of the Douglas County Board of Commissioners meetings that covered this item on September 6, 1979, August 2,1979, and August 16, 1979. On August 16,1979, a motion was made to deny the GID's request for declaration of abandonment of the roads in Marla Bay and the motion was carried unanimously to deny the petition.
